Bali Bombings Cover-Up: New Documentary

Posted in Politics And Government

Released on Youtube and Googlevideo this week, FOOL ME TWICE, exposes the cover-up of the Bali bombings and provides evidence that it was a Falseflag Operation.

The film begins by documenting the Australian government’s prior knowledge of the Indonesian military’s plan to use violence to maintain autonomy over East Timor. Contrary to The Howard Governments claims they argued against peacekeeping forces allowing the Indonesian Special Forces to carry out their campaign of fear and suppression.

Within 24 hours of the 2002 Bali bombings a team of FBI, UK special agents and Australian federal police started arriving in Bali. The investigation team continuously claimed different explosive devices were responsible for the main blast. Days after the attacks, Indonesian Police Chief, General Dai’ Bachtier, announced that the FBI had discovered C4 pointing the blame towards Jemaah Islamiah, JI (“SE Asia wing of Al qaeda”). Eventually, investigators concluded that the main explosive device was a potassium chlorate car bomb. C4 was never included in final reports.

The main explosive device was so powerful it seriously damaged buildings in a 2/400 metre radius and left a 1 metre deep, 10 metre wide crater. 202 people perished in the blasts, the majority incinerated from the main explosive device. Investigators quickly excavated the crater contents and dumped the remaining debris off the coast of southern Bali, including completely stripped concrete reinforcing bars. Potassium chlorate is a low velocity explosive and does not have the overpressure force to create a 1 metre deep crater or completely incinerate humans, let alone strip concrete. Only a high-tech explosive device has the power to strip concrete.

FBI claims of C4 announced by General Dai’ Bachtier, ensured Jemaah Islamiah was immediately blamed for the Bali bombings. All prior intelligence of the Bali bombings came from so called JI leader, Omar Al-Faruq. Omar Al-Faruq was secretly handed over to the US by Indonesia months prior to the bombings under the CIA’s extraordinary rendition program. Australian intelligence agencies reported that intelligence obtained from captured “JI suspect”, Omar Al-Faruq, warned of possible terrorist attacks in Bali. After the attacks the Bush administration denied access to Al-Faruq for questioning in the Bali bombing trials. When Omar Al-Faruq was suddenly called by US court to provide evidence in a trial of another terrorist suspect – he had “escaped high security prison”. No JI leaders have ever been brought to trial.

Prior to the Bali bombings the Indonesian government denied the existence of terrorists within Indonesia and opposed US anti-terror operations in Afghanistan. After the bombings President Megawati signed a joint statement – “Agreeing that terrorism poses a continued threat to international peace and security, and that the two Presidents are committed to enhancing their bilateral cooperation in the fight against terrorism”. The Bush administration provided funds to the Indonesian police and military and setup a national terrorism unit under the control of national police chief, General Dai’ Bachtier.

Rat Intelligence - why rats are the smartest pets out there

Posted in Pets And Animals

We know are rats are intelligent, just by being around them. The knowing looks they give us, the way they solve simple problems and work out how to cause even more mischief. Here is some more info on what we already knew. Our Rats Are Smart!

Learning

Rats pick up new behaviors and tricks very quickly. They try hard to please their owners and you may be surprised how much your rat can learn.

In the wild, rats, like humans are survivors and generalists. They have to cope with every eventuality that nature throws at them. They learn to raid human food and stores and avoid being caught.

Rats have been trained to press a button for food. If they are given food, every fourth time they press the button, they will quickly press it four times to get the food.

They can also learn to turn a light on and off, with no reward. They will simply do it as they like the change. They also like to feel they have power over these things.

Rats have amazing senses of smell and hearing and have been trained to sniff out land mines and bombs, in the place of dogs.

Mazes

Rats are also very good at mazes. It is actually quite fun to make up a maze for your ratty and put their favorite treat at the end. The first time it may take a while for them to get to the treat, but the next time you will see they are much faster.

In one incident a rat was placed in an eight arm maze, with a treat at the end of each arm. The rat learnt how to empty the maze, without going down the same arm twice. It didn’t follow a set pattern, so it’s route could not be predicted. Someone suggested that the rat was leaving a scent mark at each tunnel entrance it had been down, so that it would know not to go down that one again. However, further tests eliminated this possibility. They then turned the maze around and the rat became disoriented.

It turned out that the rat had used visual markers to remember what arms of the maze it had already been down. Some arms were near a window, or a light. This showed that the rat could picture the maze and the location of the tunnels it had been down. It then reflected on this experience and could find food with minimum effort.

Social Intelligence

Rats are incredibly social creatures, who have very complex relationships with other rats. As you probably know, they can have a very strong bond with people too.

In the wild and in horrible labs, rats can die from social stress. Their relationships are so important to them that there have been report of rats dying from heart break after their partner has died.

Shy rats have been proven to die younger than their more confident peers. It is important to be patient with him, if you have a shy ratty. If you are gentle and quiet and consistent in your efforts you may have a breakthrough.

Rat Dreams

Yes, rats do dream. Have you ever seen your little ratty twitching a little in his sleep? Or even squeaking? Well, it has been proven that rats dream, in very much the same way as humans. They dream about what they have done that day and you may see them moving as they dream.

So he started looking around on the hush hush for information about the little blue Viagra pill. Because some guys have trouble talking openly about problems with their… you know what.

And like many men worried about their performance, John began to wonder if a Viagra erection would be better, harder, more long lasting than the kind he’d been having lately.

Because to tell the truth, his had been a bit unreliable recently. Softer than he’d like, on occasion. Faster than she’d like, on occasion.

“What if all the talk about Viagra is true?” John thought. That a Viagra erection was easier to get and easier to keep going? That it could make a man harder, faster? And… an important point with John… that women love what Viagra does for their men?

“I can’t believe I’m doing this,” he thought as he went online to get information about buying the Viagra pill. The more he learned, the more convinced he became that it was exactly what he needed.

After all, John had no blood pressure or heart problems. No liver or kidney issues. He wasn’t taking nitrates or any other drug that might interact badly when taken with a Viagra pill.

According to what he read, he was the ideal candidate.

And it was good. Very good.

“Look,” said John, “I don’t kiss and tell. Let’s just say my first Viagra pill led to an excellent experience. The second Viagra pill I took a few days later was even better because I knew what to expect and I was relaxed and the mood was perfect.”

“I can tell you from my own personal experience and from my girlfriend’s reaction – a Viagra erection really is different. In fact, she asked me to buy more Viagra pills. For her birthday!”

The Origins Of The CRM Revolution

Posted in Marketing

There are many things behind the CRM onslaught that is taking place today. This comes mostly, though, from customer demand, and from the realization by companies that they must pay more attention to their customer through CRM if they want those customers to return. Without return business, a company can die out very quickly. There are usually new customers as well, but there are only so many people that will try a product in a given area of the country or on the Internet. Because of that, it would be quite easy for a company to run into a very serious problem if that company did not take the time to cultivate its customers through CRM and be sensitive to the way that they feel. This lack of regard for customer feelings could easily damage the relationship between the company and the customers, and rebuilding that relationship takes much more work than simply keeping the relationship intact in the first place.

This understanding about how important CRM actually is did not just come about through company realization, however. It also came about because customers began to stand up and express their displeasure with companies because those companies were very careless with the way that customers were treated. Their requests were repeatedly ignored, the companies did not ask for feedback, and customer service became a joke, not an option. With CRM, however, that has all changed. This new software abbreviated from customer relationship management is designed to keep more than just names and addresses. It does this as well, but it also works with much more than that. In addition to remembering the customers personal information, CRM software remembers important dates like birthdays and anniversaries, and keeps track of appointments, purchases, returns, calls to customer service numbers, answers to surveys, and countless other bits of information that can all be used to give the customer a better experience with the company.

For companies who use CRM and are committed to their customers, customer retention is generally much higher. When a person is aware that a company cares about him or her and what he or she thinks, there is a higher chance that the customer is going to continue to return to that company in the future. Naturally, this will not work for everyone, but many people feel strongly enough about this kind of interest in their lives and their feelings that they will be more likely to come back to a company that uses CRM as opposed to a company that does not. This CRM revolution was generally started by the customers and their willingness to voice what they needed, and then the companies took over the idea and realized how much it could do for them. This was the vital link in the chain between knowing about CRM and actually being aware of what it was able to do for companies and their customers. The CRM revolution, therefore, will generally continue to grow based on the fact that companies have now seen what it can do for them. Now that they know, they will not relinquish this kind of technology and business advantage.

What Makes an Expert Lawyer/Attorney?

Posted in Uncategorized

What goes on in your mind whenever you see lawyers being featured in TV programs in handsome suits, sitting in elegant desks on fancy offices, and driving luxury cars?

Have you ever thought about the amount of effort and perseverance they have gone through in terms of money, time, education, and training in order to attain the things that you see they are enjoying? If you have not realized this yet, then it would significantly change the way you think and feel towards your lawyer if you realized just how much hardship he or she has gone through to achieve his or her present status.

So what really makes a successful lawyer who is also expert on his field of specialization?

The course of training undergone by the lawyers:

Requirement in terms of formal education:

- Four years college degree

- Three years in law school

- Pass the written bar examination

Before entering a law school:

- To be accepted in a law school would mean sticking it out with the stiff competition for admission in many law schools.

- In order to succeed in law school, aspiring lawyers must develop a proficiency in the following skills:

o Speaking, Writing, Reading, Researching, Analyzing, Logical thinking

Later on, these skills must further be enhanced when in order for a lawyer to be marked as a success and an expert in his / her profession.

- A multidisciplinary background, notwithstanding the major, is always recommended for a prospective law student to possess. He or she should have taken courses in the following subjects or disciplines for they are essential and useful in the study of law:

o Public speaking, Government, Philosophy, History, English, Foreign languages, Economics, Computer science, Mathematics

Furthermore, law students who are interested in specializing in a particular area of the law need to have a strong background on a related course.

- The applicant must demonstrate an aptitude to the study of law since this is a deciding factor for most law schools in acceptance. This can be determined through the following:

o Good grades in the undergraduate course

o Passing of the Law School Admission Test (LSAT)

o Quality of the undergraduate school where applicant studied

o Work experience

o Personal interview

Upon being a law student:

During the first 11/2 years in law school, students study core law courses and the remaining time, they are given chance to choose from elective courses in specialized fields.

Practical experience is also necessary and mostly acquired by the student by continued participation in |legal clinic” activities and moot court competitions sponsored by the school. These activities enhance the students’ abilities in conducting appellate arguments.

They also get to practice in handling trial cases through apprenticeship under experienced lawyers and judges. Meanwhile the law journal of the school gives them a chance to practice their writing and researching skills.

Upon graduating:

The degree of Juris Doctor (J.D.) is earned as a first professional degree of a graduate of law school. Those who are interested in specializing on a particular area of law, legal researching or teaching may still need to obtain advanced law degrees. This requires them to study for additional semester or another year of study.

Lawyers have the responsibility to continue being informed about legal and non-legal developments that have a profound effect on their practice. Continuing legal education is presently mandated by the 40 states and jurisdictions, this is carried out by most law schools, local, and State bar associations through various education courses that will help legal professionals stay updated with recent developments.

Now we know that being an attorney is such a great responsibility and thus cannot be attained in a breeze, nor is the lavish life associated with being one.

Online Games – The Evolution

Posted in Kids And Teens

Now we see thousands of people playing online games such as tetris, ping pong, mario bros, super mario etc for free but despite its history dating back to 1970s, for most people online gaming began with the explosion of Internet in 1993 and with the advent of Doom and Warcraft sometime in 1994 or 1995. This got further boost with publishers starting to add Internet connectivity to computer games in 1994-95.

The media, in fact, have themselves been ignorant about online games history. As far as they are concerned, online gaming just coincidentally happened when their advertisers started producing Internet-capable games. But it isn’t so…

Early Years of development

In early 1950’s a college student created a game much like Tic-Tac-Toe for a class project to be played on dinosaur computers of those days complete with cathode ray tubes for the screen display. The 1960’s had MIT students programming a game called “Space war” that could be played with two people over a primitive network. The late 1960’s brought the first “real” video games like table tennis and shooter games.

The 70s – the game begins

Serious online gaming began with the first interactive online game called ADVENT. In fact networked gaming got conceptualized with ADVENT. Networked gaming had users playing against each other within an online fantasy world. The first networked game was called Mazewar, a game which involved networked players traveling through a maze and attempting to kill one another.

Next came the interpersonal interaction in a multi-player environment. The first such game was called DUNGEN. DUNGEN had players competing against one another to complete a series of quests. DUNGEN provided with new settings and players each time the user logged on.

The late 1970’s saw the start of video game craze with more and more households getting computer savvy. As a natural corollary, people started writing their own games for the home computers. These programming hobbyists traded and sold these home-grown games in local markets.

Other changes in the 1970’s were home gaming consoles which used game cartridges. That meant the people could collect games cartridges for one base unit instead of having bulky game console systems.

The 80s – some pause before the storm

1980’s saw growing craze for the video and computer game craze, but online gaming wasn’t on the horizon yet. New games with better sound and graphics were introduced and gained popularity. Pole Position and Pac-man were two that achieved big popularity. It was during 1980’s when Nintendo introduced its first gaming system.

The 90s – revolution begins

The 1990’s saw the phenomenal growth in both popularity and technology mostly because of the rise of 3-D and multimedia.

Myst, the intellectual adventure game introduced gaming on the CD-ROM format. Fancier 3-D graphics hardware made FPS (first person shooter) games such as Quake possible.

The late 1990’s saw the exponential growth of the Internet, MUDs (multi-user dungeons) which made online games wildly popular. New and improved graphical interfaces had people all over the world playing against each other not only in FPS games but also in real time strategy games (RTS games) as well as third person games like Grand Theft Auto.

This was also the period when websites started offering online games such as tetris, ping pong, mario bros, super Mario, and other free online flash games and non-flash based games free for playing after registering with them. This really pushed online gaming into the popular psyche.

The 21st Century – world is just a playground

Early years of the 21st century were dominated by the DVD-CD-ROM. It has changed the way online games are played. The latest gaming systems such as Sony’s play station and Microsoft’s X-box have networking capabilities to enable people play with each other in real time from all over the world. Exponentially growing broadband internet services have made playing these online games possible in true sense of the word.

The only drawback to the constantly evolving technology for online games is that what you buy today might become obsolete by the next year. Luckily, for the serious gamers, the resale industry for these online games is huge. This resale industry is just another element to the ever-changing history of online game.
